The babies fingers will soon begin to open and close, their toes will curl, their eye muscles will clench, and their mouths will make sucking movements. During the appointment, I would poke my abdomen and the babies would squirm in response, although I wasn't able to feel it.

This past week as been a good one. The headaches are much better. We just recently went to Myrtle Beach and we had a great time. This coming weekend we are going to Charleston for the 4th. I am looking forward to seeing the family.

11 weeks!

Sorry this is a day late. This past week as been a good one. I think I am done with morning sickness YEAH!! However, my new obstacle is headaches. I had one everyday this past week. I hope this week will be better. Adam says its due to a change in hormones.

FYI: The babies have a new reflex. Now when my babies faces are touched, they will open their mouth. Also, they now have nails.

10 weeks!!!!

My doctors appointment went well today. I saw the heartbeats, arms, legs, and they were moving around like crazy. My doc is not the best photographer, so I apologize for the unclear ultrasound. Baby A is at the top(you can see the heart, look for a white dot) and Baby B is at the bottom. The babies are 2 inches in length(stands about as high as the short side of a credit card). Also, the facial expressions of the babies are already similar to the facial expressions of Adam and I. CRAZY!!!

9 Weeks!

These are the first gifts for the twins. Grandma wheeze gave the bears, Karlayne gave the spoons from South Africa, and Emily Mack gave the Gamecock socks( Imagine that!)

Crazy weekend

On June 5th(Thurs.) at 3am till 8 am I was having severe abdominal pains AGAIN!! I was having a flashback of early May all over again. Adam took me to the doctors first thing in the morning(Friday). The babies are fine, thank god! My doc told me that one of my follicles ruptured and that was causing the pain. How? I don't know? Adam had to be at the VA that night so my sister came to my rescue. She brought me food and maternity clothes, yeah!
Friday and Saturday were no fun and it was back to the pain meds. AGAIN!! Sunday was a good day and I hope I have more good days to come. Today is week 9 so I will post pics tonight.

8 weeks

I had an appt. today and it went very well. I saw the heartbeats again. Which was so exciting. Everything looks good so far. My ovaries are still huge and have to take it easy. I can't exercise yet. I can only walk...BORING!!!! My next appt. will be in 2 weeks. I get extra attention because I'm having twins(more appts. and more ulrasounds) HA! The frame was my first Mommy purchase for the twins. I couldn't resist.
