Christmas
Sullivan and London are no longer preemie sleepy babies anymore. They are now newborn crying babies. AGH!! The Silbiger household has been a bit crazy this week. They want to eat like every 2 hours and they have their days and nights confused. They are so alert at night after they eat. I think they are going through a growth spurt. As soon as you think you have it all figured out they go and change on you. I'm trying to make a schedule for them but they seem to be calling the shots. Bath time at night is a disaster. They hate it...especially Sullivan.
The Christmas gowns were made by Emma Jo. Thanks so MUCH!! They are beautiful!!!
Adam has been making a website for the babies. It will be mostly pictures of the babies. He thinks mine is too girly. Whatever...
Not sure what the address is... so I will post it later.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Chrismas. Until next time, smooches...

2 week check up report
Sullivan and London Grace had their 2 week check up today. Sullivan weighs 5 lbs and 3 oz and his length is 18 in. long. London Grace weighs 5 lbs and her length is 17 1/2 in. They are really growing. The doctor is impressed on how well they are doing for being born at 34 weeks and eating so well. The doctor told us that their immune system is not fully developed yet. So we need to be very careful and keep our hands clean. So for anyone who comes and visits...please make sure you are not sick. If being held... can't touch hands or face. The doctor's orders!
Sullivan and London really enjoy being in their swings and bouncy seats during the day. They sleep ok at night in their bassinett. They have their bad nights at times. I try to sleep as much as possible during the day. So far, Round 1, Nana(Adam's mom), Mam-ma(Adam's Step mom), Grandpa(Adam's Dad), and Auntie Em(sister) have helped for the first 2 weeks. Thanks so much for all your help with cooking and cleaning. Round 2 will be Aunt Melissa, Mimi, and Tom-Tom. There is no way I would be able to do this without help. Thanks so much. Also... Cooper says thank you for all his walks.
Ok..I am going to go nap now. Until next time...smooches...

The Silbiger Twins arrived on December 2nd, 2008, 34 weeks. Sullivan arrived first at 4 lbs and 14 oz. London arrived weighing at 4 lbs and 10 oz. The babies came out screaming. They were able to go the Newborn Nursery and NO NICU!!! All the doctors and nurses told us how lucky we were. I am doing great. I am glad to be home and loving every minute of being a new mommy. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Adam has done a video and will be posting on the blog soon.

First Photo Shoot (3D) 33 weeks
I didn't think I was going to be able to get these shots because they are ALWAYS face down and head down. These shots made my day...it made all the aches and pains go away. It was so cool to see their mouths open and get to see their facial expressions. I think they look like my niece, Ashley, when she was first born. I guess the Sweeney genes are strong, ha:) I can't believe London has her foot on her head, poor thing. They are so compact in there.
FYI: My BP went down to the low 120's, YEAH!!!!

She's hiding behind her foot.

Her sweet little mouth and eye is open. BIG LIPS! HA:)

London again.

Sullivan a little upset. He has his hand and arm to the right of his face.

London

Sullivan

This is London with her foot on her forehead...yes... forehead.
I go see the doctor on December 1st. I will be 34 weeks very soon. Just a couple more to go!!!!
Until next time....SMOOCHES!!

32 weeks!
Well... here are the belly shots everyone has been asking for!!! I refuse to put my face in the picture!! My face looks so FAT!! HAHA!!!! I have reached the 170 marker and still have 4 more weeks to go, agh!!!! I have been doing ok considering that I am caring two babies. I try to keep myself positive and tell myself everyday I CAN DO THIS!!! I will be getting ultrasounds and seeing my doctor weekly until the babies are born. I found out today that my blood pressure has gone up a little, so Adam will be keeping an eye on it. I am making an effort to drink a lot of fluids and keeping my feet up. They have been swollen. My sleep at night has been a challenge. I get up every hour to pee and now have to sleep in the guest bedroom. Adam needs his sleep. My doctor thinks I am doing so GREAT that I can make it to 37 weeks...which puts me around Christmas week. We will have two wonderful gifts for Christmas.
Sullivan is on my left and VERY LOW!!! He is in my pelvis. The ultrasound tech has to move him to get measurements of his head...not comfortable at ALL. He weighs 3 lbs 13 oz. London is on my right side and likes to be tucked under my ribs....again not comfortable. She weighs
4 lbs and 2 oz. They are very close in size. They move a lot when they hear my voice or Adam's. It is very sweet. We have the nursery all ready and just need to put my hospital bag together. I will update again at 34 weeks.
Until next time....smooches!!!!

30 weeks Ultrasound shots

3D Foot
Well, I had my 30 week ultrasound appointment today. Sullivan weighs 3 pounds and London weighs 3 1/2 pounds. They are doing great. Their gestational age is 30 weeks. I thought I would be able to do the cool 3D pics but the babies are head down and face down. I was very disappointed. She was only able to get a foot. AGH! Anyway, it looks like London will have a full head of hair when she is born, ha:)
Smooches!!!!

5th Baby Shower given by Elizabeth!

My 5th baby shower was given by Elizabeth Gush. All the James Island and Mt. Pleasant crew came. It was so nice to see everybody especially baby Chester and John. They are so cute. I received lots of gifts...diapers, wipes, clothes, and a diaper bag. Thanks so much for the shower Elizabeth. It was a great success and the food WAS GREAT!!! I have been eating the crab dip for the last 2 days, ha! Sorry I don't have that many pictures. Most of them were on my Mom's camera.

26 weeks!
Things are going strong. I had 2 appointments today. One was for the diabetes test. I had to drink this nasty drink and wait for an hour to have my blood drawn. VERY BORING!! I hope I pass. Then I had my ultrasound check up. The tech was very pleased with the results. The babies are 2 pounds each exactly and they are a difference of 1 day apart. Also, they are a couple of days ahead of schedule. YEAH!!! I go back to the ob/gyn in 2 weeks. I will post a belly pic at 28 weeks.
Until next time....smooches!

3rd Shower!!!
My third shower was given by Nanna and Auntie Em. The entire family came and it was so much fun. The food was wonderful... Adam's favorite from Trio's. The cake was so DELICIOUS!! It was a vanilla cake with raspberry jelly filling. SO GOOD!! I wish I had some right now. HA:) Enjoy the pics and thanks again for all the gifts.
